Corrections and updates
Substantive corrections are logged here, dated, with the previous position stated. Nothing is quietly edited.

The policy
When a guide is wrong on something that would change what a reader does, we correct the page and record it here. The record states what the page said, what it says now, when it changed and why. Corrections are permanent; we do not remove them once the page is right.
Routine maintenance is not logged here. Re-verifying a page and confirming nothing changed, fixing a typo, or updating a link is recorded in the page's own verification footer rather than as a correction. The distinction is deliberate: a corrections log that fills up with housekeeping stops being a signal.
Escalation
- Clarification — the page was accurate but capable of being misread. Corrected in place, noted in the footer.
- Correction — the page was wrong on a material point. Logged here with the previous wording.
- Withdrawal — the page was wrong in a way that cannot be fixed by editing. Taken down, with the URL kept and a notice served at it.
The log
No corrections yet. The corpus has not published. An empty log at this stage is a statement of fact, not a claim about our accuracy — the first entries will appear once guides go live and readers start checking them.
Reporting an error
Write to us through the contact page. If you can point to the primary source, we will act quickly. If you tell us we are wrong without one, we will go and look ourselves rather than dismissing it — practitioners and regulators frequently know things the documents do not say.
