Contributors and reviewers

At launch there is one byline. The system for named writers and expert reviewers is built and published now, so that credit is structural rather than retrofitted.

Nepal Context Editorial Desk

Institutional byline

Every guide published at launch is written and edited by the desk and carries this byline. We do not invent authors, credentials or biographies to make a page look more authoritative than its provenance supports. The work is checkable because of its sources, not because of a name at the top.

How credit will work

Three roles, recorded separately on each page, because they are different kinds of responsibility:

  • Writer — researched and drafted the guide.
  • Fact-checker — independently checked every claim against its recorded source. Never the same person as the writer.
  • Expert reviewer — a Nepal-qualified professional who reviewed the guide within their discipline: law, tax, audit, banking, insurance, or a named sector.

Until named reviewers are published, each guide records the reviewer's role and whether that review has happened. A guide that has not been reviewed says so in its verification footer rather than staying silent about it.

Reviewing for Nepal Context

We are looking for Nepal-qualified lawyers, tax advisers, chartered accountants, bankers, insurance professionals and sector specialists in energy, aviation and capital markets who will review guides within their discipline and be credited for it.

Reviewers do not write the guides and do not control them. A reviewer flags what is wrong, what is out of date and what is contestable; the desk decides how to reflect it and remains responsible for the published text. Review is paid, and reviewers are asked to declare any interest that a reader would want to know about.

If that is of interest, get in touch through the contact page.
